Vikings closed it to 8-5 with a three-pointer. By the end of the first quarter, the score was 12-7 with MCHS out in front after a late basket from Banks.

Early in the second quarter the Vikings closed it to 12-9, and it was 14-12 after another three by Treutlen. MCHS increased their lead to 18-12 after baskets by Trinity Wideman and Banks, but the Vikings came back and it was 2016. Treutlen made it 2019, and then took a 2220 lead on the Eagles. Bell added a free-throw and then Banks hit a shot with just 2 seconds on the clock to put MCHS back on top, 23-22, heading to halftime.

In the third quarter the Lady Eagles got on track as they outscored Treutlen 15-8 to take a 38-30 lead to the fourth. In that fourth MCHS pulled away and took the win, 55-37.

The Lady Eagles were led by Bell with 33 points, and Banks added 20 in the win.

Boys vs. Dooly

It was a tough game for the Eagles, but they kept it close with the Bobcats of Dooly County. MCHS came up short, though, falling to Dooly 58-52.

The loss ended the Eagles season with a record of 11-18.

Girls vs. Clinch

The game was close early with Clinch holding a 17-13 lead at the end of the first quarter. But in the second the Panthers began to pull away as they shut down the MCHS offense and took a 30-19 lead into halftime.

MCHS fell further behind in the third quarter and trailed 47-28 by the end of the quarter. Clinch took the win over MCHS by the score of 57- 41.

Bell led MCHS with 24 points, but the story of the game was that she was the only player in double figures.
