Robert Toombs Christian Academy's seventh grade Life Skills class performed a construction and repair project with the purpose of expanding experiences in carpentry, practical hands-on uses of math and geometry. The class undertook the demolition and repair of a number of steps and porches around the A, B and music buildings. The lumber and materials were provided by RTCA and the class members and staff worked together to rebuild the steps. Each of the students left a time capsule of sorts by signing the bottom of the last board laid down in the project. They all had great satisfaction in the completed project and received mountains of hands-on knowledge that could benefit them and the school far into the future.

RTCA Students rebuilt steps, and each student left a time capsule of sorts by signing the bottom of the last board laid down in the project.
