Toombs ATE Takes 8th in Swainsboro

The Toombs County Schools Agricultural Technology and Equipment (ATE) Team traveled to Swainsboro earlier this month for the Area 4 Career Development Event, where they placed 8th overall. This event allows students, from 6th grade to 9th grade, the opportunity to practice and compete in skills and ability developed as a part of the regular agricultural education curriculum. This event also serves as an introductory event that will provide experience in agricultural mechanics and serve as an assessment of knowledge gained from the classroom instruction.
