BPC Golf At SSAC Tourney

The Brewton-Parker College men’s golf team competed in the SSAC Championships at Robert Trent Jones Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, AL, last week. In day one action at the SSAC Championships four Barons represented BPC and totaled a two-round score of 663 to land at seventh in the field. In round one, BPC carded a score of 335 and followed with a round two score of 328. Brad Hammock led the Barons with a total score of 154 (+10) on the day to tie for 26th after the first two rounds. In round one he shot a 73 (+1) and followed with a round two score of 81 (+9). Drew Tanner finished day one tied for 30th with a total score of 156 (+12). He carded a 77 (+5) in round one and a 79 (+7) in the second round. Nicholas Hofmann finished 34th after day one with a total score of 171 (+27). He scored a 90 (+18) for the first round and followed with an 81 (+9) in round two. Lastly, Lance Eldridge carded a total score of 182 (+38) for the two rounds. In round one, he signed for 95 (+23) and followed with an 87 (+15) in round two.

On the final day of action at the SSAC Championships at RTJ Cambrian Ridge the Barons finished with a total score of 337 (+49) on Wednesday. That gave BPC a total three-round score of 1,000 to land at seventh in the field.

Brad Hammock led the Barons with a final tally of 233 (+17) to land at 27th after three rounds. He carded a 79 (+7) during round three. Drew Tanner finished the tournament at 31st with a total score of 238 (+22) after scoring a final round of 82 (+10). Nicholas Hofmann completed his final round with a 90 (+18) to land at 33rd in the field with a final score of 261 (+45). Last, Lance Eldridge signed for an 86 (+14) in round three to complete the tournament with a score of 268 (+52).

The trip to Greenville marks the close of the 2021-22 season for the Barons.
