Local Convention of States To Meet in Vidalia April 14

A Convention of States meeting will be held in Vidalia to discuss the national debt and spending crisis, overreach of the federal government, and negative effects of career politicians. The event will be held at Vallarta’s Restaurant downtown on April 14. Attendees should arrive at 6 p.m. if they plan to eat, and at 7 p.m. if they only wish to attend the meeting.

According to the Convention of States Project, these three issues are the biggest problems that are seen in Washington D.C.; thus, the Convention of States Project serves to unify citizens in the use of their voice to encourage states to use their power that is guaranteed through Article V of the Constitution of the United States.

“Come meet with us at Vallarta’s on April 14 at 6 p.m. to learn how you can get involved, and so We the People can make our voices heard!” the local chapter of the organization said in an issued statement.
