Lady Eagles Drop Two

The Montgomery County High School girls soccer team played two games last week. They took on Treutlen County on the road on Tuesday and then were at Johnson County on Friday.

Vs. Treutlen

The game against Treutlen went to double overtime before being decided. The Lady Vikings picked up a goal in the first half of the game to hold a 1-0 lead at halftime. In the second half MCHS was able to get one in to tie the game at 1- 1.

That forced overtime. In the first overtime period neither team was able to score. But in the second period Treutlen put two goals in as they took the win over MCHS, 3- 1.

Vs. Johnson

It was a close game between MCHS and the Lady Trojans. Neither team scored a goal in the first half of the contest. In the second half Johnson put one goal on the board as they took the win over MCHS, 1-0.

This week the boys and girls both took on Dublin at home on Tuesday after presstime. They will be back in action on Thursday in Alamo against Wheeler County. The girls game will start at 5:00 p.m. with the boys to follow.
