Quilts of Toombs County and beyond will be featured in a show now through February 26 at the Altama Museum of Art and History, 611 Jackson St., Vidalia.
Gallery hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

CLERK OF THE YEAR Wheeler County’s Clerk of Superior Court Carol Bragg has been named the 2023 Stetson F. Bennett Clerk of the Year for the state of Georgia.
CITIZEN OF DISTINCTION - Wheeler County School Superintendent Suzanne Couey receives congratulations from Wheeler Chamber Treasurer Brandon Pope.
