Hospice in Vidalia. Survivors include 2 sons, Calvin Matthews, Vidalia, and Christopher Henry, Mt. Vernon; 3 daughters, Judy Matthews, Silvia Sharpe, Columbus, and Stacy Sharpe, Jacksonville, FL; and 10 grandchildren.

The funeral was held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 12 noon, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
