age 24, of Alamo, was also arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts. Kinsey’s arrest is for a threatening social media post she made on October 9 relating to this investigation.

Charlotte Ferguson was taken to the Crisp County Jail and Asia Kinsey was taken to the Treutlen County Jail. Damien Ferguson remains in the Laurens County Jail.

Harrison was on duty and working his first shift with the Alamo Police Department when he was gunned down in front of the police station. A manhunt was launched for Damien Ferguson, and he was taken into custody on Sunday, October 10, at a residence in Alamo. The GBI has said that the shooting was an ambush and was preceded by the arrest of an associate of Damien Ferguson’s Friday night at a Circle K Convenience Store across the street from the Police Department.

Harrison, 25, is survived by his wife, Heather, and a six-month-old son. His body was taken to the crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy and received a law enforcement escort when it was returned to Dublin for his funeral, which was held last week. Harrison was a native of the Dexter community near Dublin.

Damien Ferguson has had previous encounters with the law. He spent more than seven years in prison after being convicted of charges including theft by taking and aggravated assault on an officer in Wheeler County. He was released from the Coffee Correctional Facility in August 2006, Georgia Department of Corrections records show.

In 2020, Ferguson was arrested and charged with felony arson in the first degree following a fire on February 5, 2020, which displaced a mother and her children. He was booked into the Wheeler County Jail February 12, 2020, after an investigation by the state fire marshal, Wheeler County EMA/Fire and the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office. He was out on bond stemming from the arson charge when the shooting occurred.
