Quotes for our Times:

Leah Barkoukis, online features editor at 'Is no one telling him to stop doing this?': Biden employs strange speech tactic yet again.

Critics are wondering why President Biden again hunched over and whispered into the microphone during a Wisconsin visit on Tuesday to sell the infrastructure deal after being widely panned for doing the same last week.

Last week, Biden whispered on three occasions while speaking to reporters about the infrastructure deal.

Rand Paul blows up another Fauci claim, This time on the Delta variant.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, who Biden administration officials continue to defend, is claiming the Delta variant 'spreads more efficiently' and that unvaccinated individuals are most at risk for serious illness or death.

But are these claims true?

Republican Senator Rand Paul, who has been debunking claims from Fauci for more than a year, is pushing back. 'Don’t let the fearmongers win. New public England study of delta variant shows 44 deaths out of 53,822 (.08%) in unvaccinated group. Hmmm.'

Meanwhile, cities are reimposing mask mandates and the CDC is reassessing their guidelines.

Monica Showalter, writer for American Thinker: Vogue declares Jill Biden 'a goddess' and puts her on their cover as the epitome of style.

It goes to show that its whole schtick is politics, not fashion. After all, the big fashion bible for the world's stylish somehow managed to overlook the nation's truly stylish first lady, Melania Trump, a former super-model, who not only was quite beautiful, but ageappropriate and elegant in her four years as first lady. To claim that Jill Biden somehow tops her as a fashion icon is laughable.

That hasn't stopped them. Now they're trying to sell us Jill, who's little more than somebody's wife who often dresses in loud, frumpy, non-age-appropriate clothing that is occasionally just plain weird, as suddenly a new style maven. It reminds me of the scheming tailors who told the emperor that his new clothes were the epitome of refinement.

Good luck with that, bozos.

Charles Turot, writer for American Thinker: The incredible shrinking Kamala Harris.

Joe was certainly not up to the task of his new office. When he repeated aloud the whispered directive from his earpiece to “salute the Marines” upon entering the White House on inauguration day, we knew it wouldn’t get better. Six months of word salads and vacant stares from the leader of the free world have removed any doubt.

The problem? VP Harris is not ready for prime time. …

Harris has neither the energy nor the artistry to pull this off. Also, she openly despises half the American public. In politics, that’s a real obstacle to effectiveness.
