Mr. Roger Brannon
Mr. Roger L. Brannon, age 37, of Glenwood, died on Monday, April 5, 2021, at his home as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Appling County in November 2020. Mr. Brannon was a native of Wheeler County, where he lived most of his life, and lived in Montgomery County for a few years as a child. He worked with Southeast Masonry as a block and brick mason and was Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Connell; his grandmother, Sudie Edenfield; and his stepmother, Cynthia “Ma” McAlum.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Brannon of Glenwood; 3 children, Caleb Carey, Shiann, and Landan Carey, all of Glenwood; and 1 brother, Allen Brewer of Vidalia. A graveside funeral service was held on Monday, April 12, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., in Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor B.L. Horne officiating.
