Ms. Rhonda Mathis

Ms. Rhonda Gail Mathis, age 54, of Alamo, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Meadows Regional Medical Center in

Vidalia. Ms. Mathis worked as a sitter and caregiver for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Abbott.

Survivors include her husband, Eddie Dean Mathis of Alamo; 1 son, David (Nikki) Mathis of Glenwood; 1 stepson, Eddie Dean Mathis, Jr. (Cristie) of Alamo; her mother, Terry Caldwell of Savannah; 2 sisters, Regina Abbott and Renae Abbott of McRae; 1 aunt, Jolene Abbott of South Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
