Barberitos Donates Proceeds for Breast Cancer Awareness

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, Barberitos of Vidalia donated 20% of its October 24 sales proceeds to The Tommy and Shirley Strickland Cancer Center to support local breast cancer patients. “We are so grateful for Lee and his staff for thinking of our patients at the Cancer Center and our entire community. Breast cancer attacks our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters and daughters,” said Samantha Walker, Director of Cancer Care Services at the center. She added, “Every aspect of their lives is affected, and this donation helps ease the burden of finances, and the event in itself helps draw awareness to the battle these women are fighting. We can't thank Lee and Barberitos enough for recognizing the need and jumping in to help.”
