Treutlen Rolls Over Dublin

The Lady Vikings softball team of Treutlen County High School got a win last week over Dublin by the run rule in four innings. Treutlen jumped on top early as they plated five runs in the top of the first inning. Dublin got one back in the bottom of the frame, but Treutlen added four more in the second inning.

The Vikings pushed their lead to 12-1 in the third inning, and put the game away in the top of the fourth inning with 11 runs. Treutlen held in the bottom of the fourth inning as they won the game 23-1.

Marleigh Clark had 6 RBI's for Truetlen in the win, and Makala Braddock pitched her team to a win. Courtney Lanford added 4 hits in the game for Treutlen. Treutlen hosted Wheeler County on Tuesday after presstime and will be at Wilcox County on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
