INVITATION FOR BIDS The Housing Authority of the City of Lyons is hereby soliciting bids for lawn care services at fourteen (14) sites. The term of the contract will be for twenty-four (24) consecutive months with the option for the Authority to renew for up to three (3) additional one-year periods. Sealed bids will be received at the Housing Authority of the City of Lyons main office located at 208 N Lanier St, Lyons, Georgia 30436 until 10:00 A.M., local time on April 30, 2026, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this date and time will not be considered. A Pre-Bid Conference and on-site inspection tour will be held on April 15, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local time at the Authority’s Resident Services Building located at 165 E. Wesley Avenue, Lyons, Georgia 30436. Following the Pre-Bid Conference, bidders or their representatives will be extended the opportunity to inspect the grounds at each site. Copies of the Bid Specifications may be obtained at the Authority’s main office during regular business hours between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. Monday to Friday. The Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities and to award the contract in the best interest of the Authority.
