PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (Project Completion Hearing) November 12th, 2025 The City of Lyons has completed its FY 2020 Community Development Block Grant Project. The following activities were completed: Improved the streets and drainage systems on Collins Road, Pecan Place, and Mimosa Drive. Improved quality of life of target area residents e City of Lyons will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on November 18, 2025, at 10:00 am at the City Hall at 161 NE Broad Street, Lyons, GA 30436 for the purpose of discussing the completed activities and receiving citizen comments. All citizens are invited to attend this Hearing. A copy of the Final Quarterly Report is now available at Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission for review. PORCHFEST SHOWCASES LOCAL ARTISTS - Even rain couldn’t stop Porchfest, which hit the Jackson Heights Neighborhood on Saturday, November 8, as musicians, artisans, and food trucks gathered on the city streets and neighbors’ porches to unite the community in a time of music, fun, and fellowship.
