This parcel is located on Teston Lane, at the corner of Maple Drive and Teston Lane. The request is to rezone this parcel from C-2, Commercial Retail, to OR, Office - Residential, for the purpose of constructing one multi-family residential unit in compliance with zoning regulations. All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the City of Vidalia, 1823rd G.M. District of Toombs County, Georgia and fronting 125 ft, more or less on the norther side of Teston Lane; and being bounded generally as follows: north by W.R. Byrd; east byanunnamed40ftstreetROW;southbythelandsofJohnH.Talton,Jr. Saidtract being more particularly shown on a plat of survey thereof prepared by Leland H. Moss, Surveyor, dated 9/3/80, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Toombs County, Georgia and being in plat book 15, page 362, and said plat by reference is incorporated herein. This tract formerly being a portion of the Tera Byrd estate and contains approximately 0.32 acres, more or less. A public hearing will be held by the Vidalia Planning & Zoning Commission on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. A final consideration of request will be held by the Vidalia City Council on October 13, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. This hearing will be conducted in the Council Chambers located within the John Raymond Turner Municipal Annex, 302 E First Street, Vidalia, GA. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
