Maintenance Mechanic The Lyons Housing Authority has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the timely completion of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing repairs to the Authority's apartments. The position reports directly to the Maintenance Mechanic Foreman but requires the ability to work independently to address needs as they arise. The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in rental property maintenance. The Authority offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits. Normal working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday with occasional work needed after hours to respond to emergency calls.
