NOTICE OF PSC SPECIAL GENERAL ELECTION AND ALAMO MUNICIPAL ELECTION AND QUALIFYING INFORMATION FOR THE ALAMO MUNICIPAL ELECTION Notice is hereby given that a Special General Election for Public Service Commissioner and a Municipal Election for the City of Alamo will be held on November 4, 2025, for the purpose of electing three (3) City Council seats that are scheduled for election this year. Qualifying for said election will be held on the following dates and location as listed below: Dates: August 18, 2025, through August 22, 2025 Monday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon Location: Wheeler County Board of Elections and Registration 16 W. Forest Ave., Suite 101B Alamo, GA 30411 Qualifying Fee: $72.00 The last day to register and be eligible to vote in this election will be October 6, 2025. Advance Voting for this election will be October 14-18, 2025, October 20-25, 2025, and October 27-31, 2025. The hours for advance voting will be 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily. Advance Voting will be at the Board of Elections and Registration, Wheeler County Service Center, 16 W. Forest Ave., Ste. 101B, Alamo, GA. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Wheeler County Service Center (same as for advance voting). If there is a need for a runoff election, the date of this election will be December 2, 2025.
