TELFAIR COUNTY JOB OPPORTUNITY Building Custodian I (Part-Time) Responsible for the maintenance of the Telfair Courthouse Major duties may include, but are not limited, to the following: custodial maintenance (dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, cleaning restrooms, inside and outside doors and/or windows; identifying malfunctions and repair needs and notifying the Commission Office; preparing maintenance logs/records; ordering and stocking supplies; maintaining assigned equipment; collecting trash and emptying receptacles; performing related duties. The position requires a valid State of Georgia driver’s license, related experience, and knowledge of building maintenance principles and practices. Skill in the use of hand and/or power tools and in oral and written communication is also required. Successful candidates must have the ability to pass pre-employment background and drug and alcohol testing.
