INVITATION TO BID EDA Investment No. 04-01-07859 Baron Real Estate Foundation, Inc. and Brewton-Parker College has published a “Invitation to Bid” and is currently seeking Construction Bids for a General Contracting firm to construct a Nursing Instructional Facility on its campus located at 201 David-Eliza Fountain Circle, Mt. Vernon, Georgia 30445. A federal grant was received from the US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration to construct the new instructional facility. The Nursing Instructional Facility will have approximately 7921 gross square feet with an estimated 5,708 net square feet of program space. BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS Bidder must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in similar projects and possess all necessary licenses and certifications. 4. AWARD PROCESS Sealed Construction Bids shall be submitted by noon on July 1st, 2025 to Brewton-Parker College as specified above. Bids will be opened at 1:00 p.m. the same day. The Construction Contract shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder with a firm fixed-price lump sum contract. After opening the bids there will be a bid conformance evaluation period. During this period the lowest bidder’s submission shall be reviewed for conformance to the submission requirements. If all requirements are met, that bidder will be awarded the contract. If not, the next lowest bidder’s submission will be reviewed for conformance. This process will continue until a bidder whose submission meets all requirements can be selected.
