Approximately: 582,000 Gallons The flow from the manhole was due to excess flow surcharging at the manhole. The area of the spill was cleaned and limed following the incident. Approximately 582,000 gallons spilled with a portion reaching a tributary of Rocky Creek. The Toombs County Health Department the GA EPD, and the media have been notified of the spill.
