Maintenance Mechanic Foreman HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LYONS JOB OPENING The Lyons Housing Authority has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic Foreman. The Maintenance Mechanic Foreman is responsible for the timely completion of electrical, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry and plumbing repairs to the Authority’s apartments. This position is also responsible for supervising the maintenance staff and contractors to ensure all work is completed in a timely fashion while meeting applicable standards. The position reports directly to the Executive Director but requires the ability to work independently to address needs as they arise. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years’ experience in rental property maintenance with at least five years in a supervisory role. The Authority offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits. Normal working hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday with occasional work needed after hours to address emergency repairs.
