In order to recover from this disaster and to respond to disaster events in the future, the City of Mount Vernon is requesting proposals from experienced contractors for disaster debris removal and disposal services. Companies desiring to provide services can access the Request through the DFS Procurement Portal at dfs.bonfirehub.com. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 PM on May 2, 2025, through the DFS Procurement Portal. Award will occur at a meeting of the Mount Vernon City Hall at 435 S Railroad Avenue, Mount Vernon, GA 30445 on Monday May 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
