Called Council Meeting The City of Collins will hold a called Council Meeting, Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to open and bids on items for sale, and discuss storm damaged trees that are a posing a threat. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids FOR SALE BY THE CITY OF COLLINS The City of Collins will be accepting sealed bids on the following: A parcel of land in the 1601* district of Tattnall County GA, containing 11 acres more or less. This land was used as an inert land fill by the City until 2000. Buyer will be responsible for all matters which involve clearing or cleanup of this property that may include methane gases. A building located at 105 NE Williams St., Collins, Ga. This was used as the maintenance shop for many years and was built in the early to mid1900's. Both the structure as well as inside are in need of repair. Bids are to be turned into City Hall at 204 SW Main St., Collins, no later than 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
