INVITATION TO BID: RFP Grounds Maintenance The City of Vidalia has found the need for Grounds Maintenance Contract Services. The City would like to pursue these professional services through an annual contract. Schedule for RFP Process 1. Required RFP Meeting – December 3 @ 10AM at City Hall 2. RFP Due – December 20, 2024 @ 10AM at City Hall 3. RFP Approval – January 13th, 2025 @ City Council 4. Contract Begins – February 1, 2025 Grounds Maintenance Contract Services covered under this agreement shall include General Specifications, Detailed Specifications, and Landscape Maintenance Tasks. A REQUIRED pre bid meeting will take place on December 3 at 10:00 AM at City Hall. A copy of the RFP outlining specific requirements can be acquired from City Hall. Please email jbeck@vidaliaga.gov for more information. All bids (including prices, references & description of company experience) must be submitted using the bid form via email or hand delivery by 10:00 a.m., December 20, 2024, to the following: Josh Beck, City Manager, jbeck@vidaliaga.gov, 302 E. 1St Street, Suite C, Vidalia, GA 30474 * Reservation of Rights: The City of Vidalia reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if the City of Vidalia believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City of Vidalia.
