LRD Announces 2025 Youth Basketball Registration

The Lyons Recreation Department (LRD) announced the upcoming 2025 Youth Basketball League, inviting all young athletes to hit the court and experience the excitement of the game. Get ready for a season of skill-building, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

Registration began on October 27 and will run through November 14. Don't miss your chance to be part of the action.

This year's league is open to boys and girls across various age divisions, ensuring a competitive and engaging experience for everyone: 10U Boys (8-10 years old), 10U Girls (8-10 years old), 12U Boys (11-12 years old), and 12U Girls (10-12 years old) The registration fee for the 2025 Youth Basketball League is $45. Payments can be made conveniently via cash, card, or check. Signing up is easy. You can register either online from the comfort of your home or in-person at the Lyons Recreation Department office.

Important Note on Age Control and Past Due Balances: Please be aware that the age control date for the league is September 1, 2025. Additionally, anyone with a past due balance on their account will be required to pay the past due amount plus this season's balance before their child(ren) is/are eligible to play. If fees are not paid, your child(ren) will not receive their equipment. We encourage all participants to ensure their accounts are in good standing to avoid any delays.
