Ms. Amanda Jordan, age 40, died on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Mt. Vernon.

Ms. Jordan was born in Toombs County and was educated in Montgomery County High School. She worked at the Duncan McRae House, and worked for 23 years at Walmart in Vidalia.

Survivors include her mother, Lula Jordan; her father, Ralph Walker, Sr.; son, Jaqun Jordan; daughter, Arlona Jordan; sisters, Gwen Kelly, Tiffany Kelly, Charmaine Walker, Char Sanders, Taneishia Shaw, Annette Sanders; brothers, Raymond Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, Ralph Walker, Jr., Deante Edwards; grandmother, Beulah Brinson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
