Vikings Fall to Red Devils in First Round

The Treutlen County High School Vikings boys basketball team saw their season come to a close last week in the first round of the GHSA State Class A Division II Tournament, falling to the Bowden Red Devils.

Bowden jumped out to an early 21-12 lead in the first period of the game. Treutlen battled back to close the gap in the second period, trailing Bowden 37-31 at halftime.

The Red Devils responded by extending their lead in the third period to 54-44, and they ultimately went on to defeat the Vikings with a final score of 74-59.

Treutlen ends the season with a final record of 11-18.
