VHS STUDENTS HONOR NOTABLE AFRICAN-AMERICANS — History students at Vidalia High School celebrated Black History Month by researching key African-Americans in US History and making posters about these notable leaders in various areas of American society. The students gave presentations of their posters to their classmates, and their posters were displayed throughout the school for others to read and to learn about these important people in American history. PACKED MEETING – Several family members, friends, community members, and former students attended the Montgomery County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, April 22, as the school auditorium was dedicated to Patricia Dobbins.
