tivity on Saturday, as people from across the region come to enjoy food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, kids rides, a mechanical bull, live entertainment, and the famous “Best Fireworks Show Around,” which will hit the skies at dark to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

The free event will kick off at 2 p.m., as – vendors interact with patrons and sell their wares. Live entertainment will thrill attendees throughout the day, and on Saturday evening, the Rolling Thunder Band will take the stage with their blend of country and rock music, exciting and entertaining the crowd as they await the fireworks show.

This beloved community tradition brings together families, friends, and visitors from across the region for an evening filled with run, entertainment, and patriotic celebration,” Alamo Fire Chief Brian O’Quinn remarked, as he explained that the annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Department. “While the event serves as a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate our nation’s heritage, it also serves as an important fundraiser for the Alamo Volunteer Fire Department. The support generated through this event helps our department continue serving and protecting the citizens of Alamo and Wheeler County.
