RTCA Celebrates Graduates’ Accomplishments

Robert Toombs Christian Academy (RTCA) recently celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 during the high school’s Honors Night ceremony on Tuesday, May 5.
Twenty-one Robert Toombs Christian Academy seniors turned the tassel this year, and over half of those students are honor graduates, having earned a cumulative average of 90 or above throughout the entirety of their high school career. These honor graduates are Mekhia Bell, Lily Cauley, Samantha Greenhouse, Isaac Holton, Mandy Johnson, Hayden Meeks, Autumn Moore, Grayson Smesny, Kylie Whitney, Alayna Wimpey, and Madaline Wolfe. Autumn Moore graduated at the top of her class as the valedictorian, and Mekhia Bell follows closely behind as the class’s salutatorian.
Seven students earned scholarships to help fund their next chapters in college. These scholarships were: Grayson Smesny Memorial Health Meadows Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship; Mercer University Academic Scholarship; Coca-Cola Scholarship Ronnie ompson – American Businesswomen’s Association Scholarship Alayna Wimpey Georgia College and State University Scholarship Isaac Holton Geor gia Southern University Presidential Scholarship Autumn Moore Berry College Academic Scholarship Alijah Hodges Clayton State University Athletic Scholarship Blake Durden Brewton-Parker Christian Academy Esports Scholarship Autumn Moore and Isaac Holton were named the Academic Athletes of the Year, while Hayden Meeks took home the title of Male Christian Athlete of the Year. Brittan Tabor was named the Male Athlete of the Year.
The top five academically ranked students in the RTCA Junior Class were also announced as Junior Marshals and assisted the Class of 2026 during the Graduation ceremony. These students are Maggie Bowers, Kailen Brantley, Jayden Butterworth, Josie Kight, and Amelia Mercer.
The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Class of 2026 officially ended their high school career with Graduation on Monday, May 18.
