Protect America, Protect US
Our President is not perfect and no such thing exists but as a nation we are far better off than if the other political party had come into power. We now have a strong leader with the resolve to protect the American citizens from harm. Previous administrations did not have the rocks to do what needed to be done decades ago. Those politicians elected to play the “politically correct” card and tried “talking things over” and sending billions. That is not the solution to a deadly serious problem. The right thing to do was to send bombs loonies do not need nukes.
After years of corruption, mismanagement and lunacy, our country continued from page
is now headed in the right direction for peace, prosperity andsanity. America should own its decision to exercise military might and eliminate Iran’s ability to be a nuclear threat. It is the right move to protect the United States and its people. But protect us, completely. The American citizens should not have to suffer the pains of the country’s military actions by paying exorbitant prices at the fuel pump.
If America has the power to annihilate a country and eliminate a threat to world security, it has the power to protect the United States citizens from high gas prices.
If America is truly energy independent, a gallon of gas should be affordable for each and every American. If this great nation has the might to remove a corrupt Venezuelan dictator and unlock access to that country’s vast oil reserves, it has the power to keep fuel prices at reasonable levels. If the Governor of Georgia can reduce the cost of a gallon of gas by 30 to 40 cents overnight for its citizens, the President of The United States has the power to reduce the cost of fuel nationwide for all Americans.
If the government can protect the welfare state, protect subsidies and handouts, protect the nation’s huge financial institutions when they make a wrong bet, protect corporate America, it has the might and wealth to protect its citizens by keeping gas prices at an affordable level for those hard working taxpayers.
Americans who choose to get up each day, go to work and pay taxes trying to live the American dream rather than be a parasite looking for a government check and those Americans living under the constraints of a budget or on a fixed income should not have to suffer the financial pains of war by having to pay high prices for necessary fuel.
Strength abroad should be matched with responsibility at home. Americans voted overwhelmingly for our president. His actions regarding Iran are exactly as he promised. The residual effects of the intervention are tough to grasp, but protect America, protect US by reducing the cost of fuel at the pump.
