Two Charged With Entering Autos

Two people have been arrested for breaking into six vehicles on the 400 block of Durden Street in Vidalia on March 3.

Six vehicles were entered by the suspects, who are accused of stealing financial cards from the cars and attempting to fraudulently use the cards for continued from page

purchases. Dontea Lewis, 20, of Vidalia, and Kyez Shinhoster, 20, of Vidalia were arrested for the break-ins and are each charged with entering auto, financial card theft, and financial card fraud.

The pair were located and arrested without incident by Vidalia Police Department investigators and the Crime Suppression Unit.

The investigation remains ongoing.
