Vidalia Soccer Over Bacon

It was a quiet week on the pitch for the Vidalia High School soccer programs, but the Indians made the most of their single road trip. Traveling to face Bacon County last Tuesday, both the boys' and girls' squads took care of business and returned home with solid victories.

Girls vs. Bacon Co.

The Lady Indians set the tone for the evening. Backed by a disciplined defensive effort that refused to give up any ground, Vidalia kept Bacon County completely out of the net. The offense capitalized on its chances, putting three goals on the board to secure a clean 3-0 shutout. The win pushes the girls' overall record to an impressive 9-3 on the season, though they are still battling to improve a 1-2 mark in Region play.

Boys vs. Bacon Co.

In the boys' match, the pace was a bit more open, but the Indians remained in control throughout the contest. Vidalia’s attack consistently applied pressure, striking for four goals to comfortably outpace their opponents and seal a 4-2 win. The victory edges the boys above the .500 mark for the year, sitting at 6-5 overall, and evens out their Region record to a balanced 1-1.

Vidalia will host Bryan County this Thursday, with the evening's action scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m.
