Easter Egg

Hunt

The City of Uvalda will host a community Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at the Uvalda Walking Track, located beside Uvalda Baptist Church on Main Street. This free event is open to children ages 1 to 10, and will feature an Easter Egg Hunt, candy and treats, food, and a bounce house. For more information, call (912) 594-6414.

Classes

The Wheeler County Public Library, located at 61 Main Street in Alamo, will hold free computer classes from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on April 6, April 7, April 20, and April 21. Topics that will be covered include fundamentals, internet safety, email, and Zoom. Limited seats are available; to reserve your spot, call (912) 568-7321.

Cemetery

Clean-Up

Volunteers will work to clean up the historic East Park Cemetery, located along 5th Avenue in Vidalia, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, as a part of the annual Spring Time Clean-Up. For more information, contact Enhancing Low Income Communities Economically (ELICE) at (478) 361-0777.
