Community Men in Action will host the annual MLK Parade at 11 a.m. on January 19 in Vidalia. The parade will follow the same route as the Vidalia Christmas Parade, as it will come down U.S. Highway 280. For more information, call (478) 494-8253.

Distribution

Montgomery County households dealing with food insecurity can receive frozen meats, fruits or vegetables, and dry goods from the Community Food Pantry Distribution, which will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, at the Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, located at 120 McGregor Street in Mount Vernon.
