Lights
Christmas spirit and colorful lights will fill the area nightly, as the Nadekow Family Christmas Display, located at 410 Durden Street in Vidalia, invites the public to celebrate their last year of the display, which is free and open to the public from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. nightly. The Grinch will be available for photos on Christmas Eve, December 24, and Christmas Karaoke on December 26.
MLK Parade
Community Men in Action is accepting parade application for the annual MLK Parade, slated for January 19 in Vidalia. Entries are due by Wednesday, December 31. For more information call (478) 494-8253.
Free Trees in
MoCo
The Montgomery County Extension Office has recently received a grant allowing Montgomery County Citizens to receive a free tree to help replant those lost in Hurricane Helene. The last day to sign up is December 31. To claim yours, call (912) 583-2240 or email lauren.stanley@uga. edu.
