Santa Visits Kibbee Community
On Saturday, December 13, the historic T.A. Blocker’s General Store in Kibbee hosted a holiday event for their community. Longtime friends, customers, and family gathered for the general store’s Country Christmas Celebration.

food truck vendor served “Santa approved” Y’ALL Dogs, and Cowboy Santa greeted the attendees. Both young and young-at-heart had the treat of getting their photos taken with “Santa Claus.”
Santa shared how since Mr. Gary’s name had been on his ‘nice list’ for so many years, he had wanted to stop in and pay him a special visit. Santa told how he had bought his very first pair of cowboy boots from “Blocker’s” which then earned him the nickname “Cowboy Santa.”
Gary Blocker, owner of the general store, was present to welcome Santa and others and join in the day’s fun. He along with his store employees expressed their appreciation to all who attended and who helped make the Country Christmas Celebration a successful one and wishing all a Merry Christmas.
