Letter to the Editor
Every day, my phone lights up with spoofed, unwanted robocalls. I block them. I report them. But the calls continue because the real source — the carriers and VoIP gateways enabling mass scam traffic — rarely face meaningful consequences.
Until illegal call traffic becomes financially painful for those who route it, the problem will persist. We need strict penalties, rapid tracebacks, and real enforcement.
It's time to stop treating the symptoms and dismantle the source.
I am contacting all of our legislators and Attorney General in hopes of someone starting real solutions.
