The Barons Men's and Women's Cross Country teams ran at the SSAC Conference Championships on November 7, 2025. Both teams brought their best efforts and saw several excellent individual performances. The women's team placed 8th and the men's team placed 7th in the team score.

Lillie Brown broke a school record as a true freshman, running an impressive 26:38.2 and finishing 40th overall. Stephen Sirmans finished 31st for the men, claiming the top spot with a time of 28:33.9. The Barons aim to leverage their experience and transition into the track and field season, beginning preparations for next year's cross-country season.

Head Coach James Frank shared his thoughts on the season, 'Both the women's and men's teams are very young. There are only two seniors on the men's team and none on the women's team. Seniors finished their crosscountry careers strong. I want to give special thanks to Kendra Payne for completing the women's team and allowing us to score as a team. I look forward to the continued growth of all the returners. The future looks bright!'
