The Montgomery County Schools Future Farmers of America (FFA) will host their annual Fall Festival from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Montgomery County High School Football Field on Thursday, November 13. Each year, the Montgomery County FFA hosts a community Fall Festival, which welcomes the community in to play games and do fun activities while also raising money and collecting canned and dry foods for those in need. The festival is not limited to students within the Montgomery County School District, but is open to all members of the public.
This year’s festival will feature games, concessions, pumpkin string art, and several other activities.
To participate, citizens should either bring canned or dry food donations, or purchase “pumpkin passes” upon arriving. Each game or activity will cost participants at least one punch on their “pumpkin pass.” “Pumpkin pass” prices are $5 for 5 punches, $10 for 10 punches, or $20 for 20 punches. Every child donating five canned or dry food goods will receive one free $10 pumpkin pass card.
The Montgomery County High School Football Field, also known as Brogdon Field, is located at 701 Dobbins Street in Mount Vernon. For more information, call (912) 583-2296.
