Mr. Clarence Turner

Mr. Clarence Turner, age 72, died on October 2, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Turner was born in Emanuel County. He served in the National Guard for over 15 years, was a steel worker for a couple of years, before spending the rest of his life as a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Turner and Ralph Goings; 2 sisters, Brenda McKinney and Delories Gillis; and 2 sons, Don Wardlaw and William Springer, Jr.

Survivors include his children, Hope (Gerald) Sewer, Sr., Sara (Demetrius) Sharpe, Constance Springer, and Christopher McKinney; a special friend, Annie Ruth Kirkland; and many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
