Early Voting

Voters will be able to begin casting their ballot for municipal and the state Public Service Commission races beginning Tuesday, October 14. For information regarding elections or polling locations, contact your county election supervisor or visit mvp.sos.ga.

Live in Lyons

Lyons will host another Live in Lyons music event beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, at the 304 Society Garden, located on the corner of GA Hwy 292 and Washington Street in Downtown Lyons. Zach’s Durty Dogz will be set up as a food vendor, and Wade Coleman and Gina Peter and the Mystics will perform. This event is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs to sit on. For more information, call (912) 526-6445.

Meeting

Vidalia City Councilman Ronald Miller invites all community members residing in Ward 3 to a Town Hall Meeting from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20. This meeting will be held at the J.D. Dickerson Primary School Cafeteria, located at 600 North Street East in Vidalia.
