The men's soccer team from Brewton-Parker Christian University fell in 2 games last week as they lost to the Roadrunners of Dalton State University and to the Running Eagles of Life University. vs. Dalton State

The Brewton-Parker Christian University men's soccer team faced a tough conference match against the #1 Dalton State College Roadrunners on October 10, at Dalton Stadium. Despite a strong performance, the Barons were unable to stop the best team in the nation, falling to the Roadrunners in a final score of 3-1.

During the first half of the game, the Roadrunners took an early lead of 1-0 that they would carry into halftime. The Barons fought hard and tried to even the score, but were unable to overcome the defense of Dalton State.

In the second half, Dalton State continued to bring the pressure, adding to their goal totals. Brewton-Parker's Lazar Milosavljevic managed to squeeze one past Roadrunners' defenders, marking the only score for the Barons. The Barons' goalkeeper, Diego Alejandro Montes Carrera, faced an intense battle throughout the game, parrying multiple attempts. Despite his efforts, the solid Roadrunners' offense proved too formidable, resulting in a final score of 3-1. vs. Life

In a challenging conference game on October 12, the Brewton-Parker Barons faced off against the Life University Running Eagles at Lupo Family Field. The Barons men's soccer team struggled throughout the match, ultimately conceding an 8-1 loss to the Running Eagles.

The game started unfavorably for the Barons as Life's Andrei Apostu quickly dominated by scoring three goals in the first half, setting an insurmountable lead. By halftime, the scoreboard was 4-0 in favor of Life. Brewton- Par k e r 's goalkeeper, Diego Alejandro Montes Carrera, faced an intense offensive barrage from Life, and despite making several saves, was unable to stop the Running Eagles from scoring.

In the second half, Brewton-Parker's Daniel Rodriguez found the back of the net, scoring the team's only goal, which Rayane Sid Ahmed assisted. However, Life continued to press their advantage, concluding the game with a commanding 8-1 victory.

Brewton- Par k e r 's current season record stands at 1-12-0, with a conference record of 0-70. The team looks to rebound in their upcoming match against Faulkner University on October 16, in Mount Vernon, Ga. The Barons aim to use this experience to prepare and strategize for better outcomes in future contests.
