Eagles Soar to Dominant 57-0 Win Over Crisp

Vidalia Heritage Academy's Eagles football team delivered a commanding performance last Friday night, hosting the Crisp Academy Wildcats and rolling to a decisive 57-0 victory.
The Eagles' offense was explosive from the start, putting up 30 points in the first quarter alone. Quarterback Jake Adams wasted no time getting on the board, connecting with Trevor White for the game's opening touchdown, followed by an Adams two-point rush for an 8-0 lead. White quickly found the end zone again, this time with a rushing touchdown, and a Brannen Brantley two-point reception made it 16-0.
The defense joined the scoring frenzy when Levi McDade snagged a Pick-6, pushing the score to 23-0 after a successful PAT from Sergei Fontaine. Adams capped off the firstquarter scoring with another passing touchdown, finding Pearson O'Neal, making the score 30-0 at the end of the first.
The onslaught continued into the second quarter. Dylan Green ran in a touchdown, followed by another successful PAT from Fontaine. Adams threw his third passing touchdown of the half, finding Green for the score. Jackson Franklin then added another rushing touchdown just before halftime, with Fontaine's kick making the score 50-0 at the break.
With the game well in hand, the VHA offense settled down with a running clock in the second half. In the fourth, Chuck Page punched in a final rushing touchdown, and Fontaine connected on the PAT, making the final score 57-0.
The Eagles’ impressive shutout victory highlighted a balanced attack and a stifling defense, giving the home crowd plenty to cheer about.
The Eagles have this week off and will be back in action next week for a Region matchup against Citizens Christian Academy on Friday night with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. VHA is 6-1 on the season, and they are 5-1 in Region play and sit in second place in the Region.
