STC Foundation Gives 48 Scholarships

The Southeastern Technical College Foundation recently announced 48 scholarships that were issued to students – 13 of which went to Toombs County residents.
These scholarships help the Foundation to continue its mission to provide financial support for students pursuing their education and career goals. The scholarships are funded through donations from donors, and provide essential financial resources to help enable students to stay on track with their education.
“We are exceptionally proud that STC donors also include 100% participation from our employees giving to the Foundation campaign for well over 15 years,” STC Foundation Director Blythe Wilcox remarked.
She continued, speaking about her excitement for the scholarship recipients. “Congratulations to all the fall 2025 STC Foundation scholarship recipients! We are honored to be able to reward these students for their hard work and determination, and we wish them much success as they continue to achieve their dreams,” she emphasized.
A total of 13 scholarships were issued to Toombs County Residents. Those scholarships and recipients were: General Scholar ships – Bennette Andrews, Amber Auman, and Micah Davis-Brown Memorial Health Meadows Hospital Scholarships – Natalie Clifton, Amanda Newton, Jessica Ramos, Camry Sanders, Emma Tapley Last Mile Scholarship – Laura Delgado Shot and Jean Strange Scholarship – Melanie Garcia ScoG Meehan Memo rial Scholarship – Valeria Gonzalez Part-Time Student Scholarship – Jacey Mc-Clung Medical Scholarship – Caleigh Page Several other scholarships were issued to students outside of Toombs County, as residents of Appling, Emanuel, Tattnall, Candler, Laurens, Bulloch, Telfair, Evans, Johnson, Jefferson, Jeff Davis, Gwinnett, and Bacon counties were issued scholarships. These scholarships were: Part-Time Student Scholarships – Jaqueline Balderas, Chelsea Brown, Tamia Cooper, Sarah Mc-Bride, Natalie Perez, Zykerriah Rogers, and Pamela Williamson Medical Scholarship – Jaycee Bratcher, Chundrisica Robertson, Natalie Rucker, Millie Smith, and Summer Williams Jack Hill Memo rial Scholarship – Kensley Bruce Dr. Oscar "Sammy" Holton Memorial Scholarship – Hailey Crosby General Scholarships – Letia Crumbly, Ashley Jenkins, Alexis Joris, Yesenia Morales, and Michelle Waters Gene Haas CNC Scholarships – Toland Davis, Alvin Jones, Wilder Peebles, Jeremy Spikes Louie and BeGy Cal houn Scholarship – Carter Gainous Memorial Health Meadows Hospital Scholarships – Jamie Gunter, Lindsey McLeod, and Jason Rodriguez Mae Jones Memo rial Scholarship – Zury Jaramillo Last Mile Scholarship – Christopher Joris William J. Peterson, Jr., Scholarship – Tamarietta Stevenson Kathy Carpenter Memorial Scholarship – William Tanner and Callie Winfrey Vidalia Campus Scholarship – Jordan Taylor Swainsboro Cam pus Scholarship – Michelle Thomas President's Scholar ship — Summer Williams Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the annual STC Scholarship Banquet in February, where students have the opportunity to personally thank donors, Foundation trustees, and community leaders. Additionally, the Foundation hosts its annual Appreciation BBQ each October to celebrate the lasting impact of community support.
