Wheeler Library Asks For Community Feedback

mrandolphadvance@gmail.com

The Wheeler County Library is inviting residents to submit their thoughts on what library programming they wish to see in the future.

This invitation for community input comes as a result of the Ocmulgee Regional Library System — which serves Bleckley, Dodge, Pulaski, Telfair, Wheeler, and Wilcox Counties — seeks to ensure that upcoming events and offerings reflect the needs and interests of the people that they serve. Over the past year, these library branches have hosted a variety of programs aimed at bringing people together, encouraging creativity, and supporting lifelong learning. These have included knitting and crochet groups, paint and sip nights, puzzle challenges, board game nights, trivia events, and bingo —boffering something for nearly every interest and age group.

“This is your chance to tell us what you’d love to see happening at your local library,” Ocmulgee Regional Library System Public Services Librarian Delilah Carr remarked. “The more voices we hear from, the better we can tailor our programs to serve our communities.”

Residents who have utilized the library as a patron, or haven’t attended library programming in several years, are welcomed to submit their input online at the library’s website or at the library branch, located at 61 W. Main Street in Alamo. For more information, call (912) 568-7321.
