ognition that facilities may receive through the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living’s threelevel National Quality Award Program. To receive this award, Meadows and Oxley Parks had to develop an organizational profile, through which they shared their vision, mission, key customers, strengths, and challenges. These profiles were then reviewed and evaluated by trained experts, who compared the information to a set of nationally recognized standards for organizational excellence. The facilities also had to demonstrate the use of a performance improvement system.

“It’s truly an honor to receive this award,” Meadows Park Health & Rehabilitation Administrator Rachel Parker emphasized. “Covid brought many obstacles to the team here at Meadows Park, but receiving this award proves that perseverance overcomes challenges. This award is a reflection of the dedication and resilience of our associates, our patients, and their families.”

“This Quality Award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team. It reflects our commitment to providing the highest standard of care for our patients, and we are proud to be recognized for our efforts,” Oxley Park Health & Rehabilitation Administrator Amy Morris remarked. American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living National Quality Award Board Chair Cathy Bergland also commented on the awards. “Receiving this award marks the beginning of an exciting journey towards excellence,” she said. “Congratulations to Meadows Park and Oxley Park on this significant achievement. I encourage you to take some time to celebrate and continue striving for higher levels of quality and performance.”

The facilities will now have the opportunity to work towards the Silver – Commitment to Quality Award, which will celebrate the facilities’ continued dedication towards providing their residents with quality care.
