Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark will be speaking at the Lyons First Baptist Church at 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, as a part of the Chamber’s GEORGIA| 2050 Tour. The GEORGIA|2050 Tour is a statewide tour where the Georgia Chamber discusses the new GEORGIA|2050 Strategic Plan, which was created to help the state continue to thrive economically. During the tour, Georgia Chamber officials inform Georgia communities how they can begin working to carry out this plan and enable the state to remain the top state to do business with for the next 25 years.
Greater Vidalia Chamber President Michele Johnson commented on the occasion. 'Georgia's economic success is possible because of the true spirit of partnership within the statewide business community. We are proud of our partnership with the Georgia Chamber, which includes serving as a host of the GEORGIA|2050 Tour. By continuing to work together, we will keep Georgia as the number one state in the country to do business for years to come,” she emphasized.
Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark added, “With our GEORGIA|2050 strategic plan, the Georgia Chamber is starting a journey that will determine Georgia’s economic future. We’re excited to hit the road and engage with communities on what the Georgia of 25 years from now will look like. By working in partnership now, we can ensure Georgia remains a beacon of economic opportunity for our kids and grandkids.”
